None of the rookies need to be on there (on the Olympics)..I get the marketing aspect of it, but they got plenty of years to represent this country, ish ain't going no where. Let the old guards handle this...


Imagine when Angel Reese gets on there popping queen ish to these euro women..that ish gonna be funny...

But it's actually not about that it's about marketing. Just like they put Christian Laettner on the Dream Team, he didn't belong there
 
The women's team hasn't lost an Olympics game sine 1992. They can afford to let this rookie class get some shine.

The WNBA had Lobo, Taurasi, and Candace as rookies on their Olympic squads already

And they don't have plenty of years lol, if they don't capitalize on the eyeballs they're getting right now, it will all fade away. No one will care 4 years from now about women's basketball. I swear the WNBA doesn't want people to get into it's product the way it moves

Diana taurasi is 40 something and been on the Olympics team 5 times(this will be her 6) every 4 years..lol. It ain't going no where...

I don't have an argument for the marketing aspect of it. I do agree they need to marketing their league better.

Some ish is coming out but it's slowly.

Someone said they need to have their own TnT half-time show like what kenny, ernie and Barkley be doing..I like that idea

Have Diana Taurasi when she retires(cuz you know she don't give a fuck) be one of the host w Monica McNutt and a couple other personalities....Candice Parker maybe.

I think having a legend like DT is cool. But the end of the bench could have added three rookies. Would have been a great way to introduce them to the world, and probably big the biggest Olympic draw for viewers.

I'm not sure the TNT halftime show works unless the WNBA really starts to own a day of the week. The NFL did that with Sundays, and TNT with Thursdays. They need that type of energy for it to work.
