I love how all of the people trashing the 49ers for taking Trey Lance forgot that it was the same media chorus that shouted "You can't move heaven and earth to trade up to take Mac Jones at #2" when they made the trade and word leaked that they were leaning towards Mac Jones.

The 9ers had no business bringing in Sam Darnold, but it was clear what that move meant. Brock Purdy earned the starting job based on last year, no one would argue against that, but then Trey should’ve been QB2, and they still have Allen as their 3rd QB.

I am not saying he is as good as Mahomes
but traits wise they are the same QB. He just needs some good coaching.
Not a Washington fan but if the price is right they should trade for him. I think EB would help him realize his potential
