Cam was not some magical player for a long time. He had a few good years and the rest was average to below average.

The Jags game really was the end for me. Can’t see why he had to come back after that. Chargers need a veteran coach & GM. Someone who won’t waste yet another good/great QB like Fouts & Rivers.
 
They ran Cam into the ground and had him breaking tackles. He also was screwed on a lot of late hits. That last shoulder injury destroyed him. Dude couldn't throw for shit

Yes, that’s the most unfortunate aspect that kinda gets forgotten. They ran him into the ground with a terrible offensive line and no real solid weapons to throw to.
