This has been such an interesting and complicated situation, I can't wait to see how this plays out

Dude was a playing at max level before he fucked up and feels he shoud be paid accordingly.....we don't know what the Hornets offered him but it was probably very team friendly with a lot of protections....Bridges bet on himself and didn't feel like he was giving anything up signing the qualify offer for 7.9 mil(which means he can't be traded without his consent and if he is than he loses his bird rights)

He didn't have a market this year because the stench is still on him but if he picks up where he left off some team will make him a big offer next offseason

 
Then what happens when a team wants to trade the player. This seems to be from the perspective of the player demanding the trade.
Once both sides agree to a trade, the team has to pay a trade bonus to the player for not staying committed to the player.
