The situation that their franchise player wants out even though it was his injury that most likely put them in the lottery anyway. Being that it's a small market, were they ever gonna get a top FA to sign there? I mean they had to overpay just to keep Grant. It ain't like people were eager to come there. Considering he went through similar shit with LaMarcus Aldridge its unfortunate. I blame Dame for going out of his way to stand on not wanting to leave Portland, loyalty, thinking he was different and being loud about it for no reason.
