I think that championship made people give Toronto this reputation of being a consistent contending team that people expect to be good.

They are a perennial 2nd round ceiling team when you factor in the past 15 years

Toronto being a middle of the road team comes across as underachieving to others when in reality it’s in line with what they bring on a consistent basis

I think its more about people not being sure about what they're doing than expecting them to be good
