I see niggas got time today. Funny there’s not much traffic in here after a Cs win. Now niggas fingers moving...ha ha
Tatum had his best shooting game of the series, smart had 20, and the best shooter ever Couldn’t hit a three and the Celtics lost by 10

Derrick White and a racist crowd seem to be the X factors here

Let’s see what Udoka does

Exactly straight clown shit lol. Fans of teams that wasn’t even close to the playoffs and teams we’ve eliminated or won the season series against trynna talk spicy when according to them we wouldn’t have sniffed a finals appearance

I've seen commentators and analysts try to argue that today's players are more skilled than 80s and 90s players for a while. I assumed they were talking about on average so I didn't complete dismiss it. I mean there were some players in the 80s and 90s that seemed like they were just there because they were tall.

After watching these playoffs, I have no idea what they were talking about. Today's players are better 3 pt shooters for sure, but I fail to see how they are more skillful. Besides long distance shooting, what do today's players do that 80s and 90s players can't do.

Also, Curry would be a star in any era, but I don't think he's be a top 10 player in the 90s and he definitely couldn't have led his own team back then. He's perfect for this era.

What do you mean? I'm asking a question because I don't see it, but I freely admit I don't watch much NBA now. If you agree with those analysts, in what facets of the game do you believe today's players are more skilled. It's not a gotcha. It's an honest question.

No i ageee with you.. its a game of skills the average athleticism today is greater but it doesn't mean those advantages make players of yesteryear obsolete ..

The Curry bit is what i take issue with his game is vastly different than it was.. he is a pg.. he plays more like a scoring guard now but he affects the game at all levels aside from his presence he would be what he is now back then..

Whenever Curry faces a decent defense, he looks a little more lackluster. He still has good games no doubt, but he sometimes disappears too. We're seeing that this series, and we saw it when the Cavs beat the Warriors. You put him back in the 90s, and he'd have to contend with defenses like that all the time, and that's not even mentioning hand-checking and more physicality. Under those conditions, I believe you'd see a lot more up and down play from him on the regular. He'd have crazy games where he was on, and probably just as many games where he was shut down.

I honestly don't think he'd be a number 1 in the 90s. To really shine he'd need someone else who could take most of the attention, and then he'd be able to go off. Hell, you could argue that even now, Curry is only who he is because he's on a team where damn near everyone is a threat from downtown so no team can ever give Curry too much attention.
