Being decent with a young core which is a great thing to have where you could eventually place a star

nets aren’t even in a bad position either

They can easily fix their situation within a year

Nets actually operate at their best under these circumstances

They've shown they can find talent late in the draft, have a good track record of developing talent, making good moves around the margin, scouting underutilized players ect

Obviously the KD/Kyrie experience was an epic fail and very disappointing but they should be optimistic about their future considering the circumstances

Claxton/Johnson/Bridges is a great defensive and shooting core to put pieces around

Only issue really is Ben Simmons but with lower expectations his contract isn’t so hard to swallow now

Get a young PG at some point and use Joe Harris/curry/DFS/O’neale more or less to create more assets or as pieces in a bigger trade

All things considered nets fans can Atleast watch games without having a headache and can enjoy internal growth like they were supposed to before the KD/Kyrie stuff

Nets will be fine and are in decent shape. They are in the exact same position they were in (actually probably better) before getting KD / Kyrie. The core and surrounding pieces are there
