I am confused with the hit job thing. The one article people keep pulling from was pretty much a recap of things most Lakers fans already knew.

Russ has no self awareness, Russ did not get along with Phil Handy, Russ and Lebron had a weird vibe, etc. This were all known stuff. Only "out there" thing was the Vampire thing, but not really surprising.

Both sides tried to salvage this partnership, but in the last week before Wednesday's trade, it became clear it was time to move on.
