The Knicks outclassed the Bulls for 42 of 48 mins. This was done while Julius, their best player, had a subpar game.
I fully expect the Knicks to tighten up their late game struggles as the season evolves. Sometimes wins are ugly but all that matters is the W.
Nothing about watching that game would make someone comfortable justifying the preseason projections that the Bulls are a better team than the Knicks. Even with the near choke / one point victory. That’s what I take away from tonight’s game.

It was necessary last season as he was great in his allotted role being really the only other player outside Rose & Julius that could create their own shot.
We’re so much deeper this year & if the smart decision making isn’t going to be there then he needs to ride pine.
RJ, Rose, Kemba, Fournier all should be ahead of him in that Guard / Wing rotation at the end of games. Hopefully by the 3/4 mark of the season Grimes will be on that list too for his defense alone.
