2020 NFL Season Thread

Everyone looks like that though, especially when you add hating spin. What coach you think you can look at over a long career and not have losses to teams with a losing record and playoff losses that should have been wins? Payton? Harbaugh? Carroll? Reid? Who's your standard for success?

He lost to Tebow. Brady and Manning lost to Sanchez. It happens. I think the Steelers actually beat the Jets that year to go to the SB. Bill Belichick lost to Nick Foles, a 5 seed Giants team, and a 9-7 Giants team in the Super Bowl.

All better than Tomlin imo. Their teams are put together to match their style of play. What the fuck is Tomlin's style of play? Can't be smash mouth bcuz they don't run and their defense just got good last year. Are they a throwing team? With Ben as your QB, is that the direction you wanna go? Especially before last year when the defense was ass. Ben gets his stats when they have to play from behind. Tomlin has only one playoff win since losing to the underdog Packers in the SB. I really wanna see what he can do with a different qb. Last year don't count but it coulda been avoided if he took the backup qb position seriously. He is too loyal to Ben. I don't put the last two seasons on Tomlin. If anything it has bought him more time in Pitt. He ain't getting fired so I'm done talking about it.

Harbaugh ain't better.

And Payton ain't better either.

You brought ugly payoff loses. Did you forget the Saints previous 3 playoff appearances prior to this year... "riight"

Carrol and Tomlins 2 SB appearances and win>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Payton

And neither is ahead of him on the coaching totem pole.

What’s wrong with you bruh. It’s not even close.
SP is top 3 greatest offensive mind in football history and Elite play caller.

You need a coach to dissect a defense he’s on the short list

Means nothing.... :icu:

Payton's still ain't better than Tomlin or Carrol

Two defensive guys who had trash defenses more than a few times.

SP is a offensive guy and they never had a bad offense. Only record setting offenses.

You will never find anyone that would put them two over him

Harbaugh knows how to beat Beli when it matters and Tomlin doesn't. And Payton lost with one of the flukiest miracle plays ever and a controversial PI call that led to rule changes. Also, I never said the other coaches didn't have bad playoff losses.

Again. I'm done with this convo. Tomlin is our coach and he ain't going anywhere. Period.

So many small market teams left. I guess the NFL lost right?

@Bow to Royalty

I said they matter to the player. If Daniel Jones or Dak were doing what Josh Allen's done (13-3, 37 TD's, 8 more rushing TD's) they'd be the most talked bout names in football this year, and have tons of opportunities to make money outside of football. But he's in Buffalo...so he's not getting that treatment.

The whole NFC East had losing records this year. What division do you think will get more TV time than them next year?

Told you markets are like white privilege. It doesn't guarantee success, but it damn sure helps. And being mediocre is enough to get ahead.
