2020 NFL Season Thread

Juju's starting to look bad out here. It's not 2018 anymore. You can't be that vocal and drawing all that attention without producing. That's 2 100 yard games in the last 2 years. 3rd in receiving yards for the Steelers this year and last year. And he's out here dancing on logos and talkin shit about the other team in the press? Tomlin might need to have another talk with him.

His last 3 games before this he had 21, 6, and 65 yards against the Browns.

So the first ever 6 game wildcard weekend is in the books. Y’all like this format or should the nfl go back to the top 2 seeds getting byes?

This is what I have been saying for years. Ben lost this game tho. I just think Tomlin is too tied to Ben and should have been getting another qb ready years ago. He ain't going anywhere so I ain't getting into who should be the coach.

This is a hating ass tweet. Unless it's BB, what coach you gonna list out like this and not have a gang of playoff losses, and regular season losses to teams with a losing record. They even hated on the SB he won.

Just looked at it again. They mention Brady getting hurt, but not the QB carousel the Steelers had last year. A Bengals fan managing that account?

Yeah that tweet is bullshit

unfortunately, like when Jordan was in his prime

Palpatine and Vader ran the galaxy for two decades and kept a lot of great coaches and players from success.

Im cool with Tomlin. I just think he was too loyal too Ben to a detriment.

Literally all the moves made on offense for the past 3 seasons has been for Ben. Promoting Finctner, drafting WRs high, even the scheme we run.

Next year Ben or not we need to do whats best for the team.

Get a new OC
Get a new QB if its feasible
Draft oline

Don't know if it was the OC or Ben not able to push the ball down the field
Ben. OC can't open up the playbook if the QB can't run half of them bcuz of his lack of arm strength. Also there were rumors earlier in the year when they were running the ball well that Ben felt like they should throw more resulting in teams finding out Ben couldn't stretch the field. They never got back in a good running groove after that.

Those are ugly ass playoff losses no matter how it's spun. Take care of them sub .500 teams and they are playing at home or getting bye weeks some of those seasons. All his success is tied to Ben. We have seen what happens when Ben doesn't play. So is Tomlin overrated or is Ben underrated? I wish he put more pressure on Ben to play better throughout those years but he babies his best players. Tomlin is considered a defensive expert but after Troy retires and Labeau they didn't get good on defense again until last year. He lost to Tim Tebow. Enough said.

Again, He ain't leaving so he is our coach. It is what it is. I just wish he was more in control of his team.

Tomlin can’t be overrated since he went 8-8 with 2nd and 3rd string qb. The problem with team is Ben. If your qb putting you in a 0-28 hole that’s a lot of pressure on the team to come back. Other than the first qtr, Steelers out scored the browns every quarter. Ben take care of the ball and you looking at a Steelers win

as for Tim Tebow, he didn’t lose to him. Ike Taylor got burned.

Everyone looks like that though, especially when you add hating spin. What coach you think you can look at over a long career and not have losses to teams with a losing record and playoff losses that should have been wins? Payton? Harbaugh? Carroll? Reid? Who's your standard for success?

He lost to Tebow. Brady and Manning lost to Sanchez. It happens. I think the Steelers actually beat the Jets that year to go to the SB. Bill Belichick lost to Nick Foles, a 5 seed Giants team, and a 9-7 Giants team in the Super Bowl.
