2020 NBA Draft thread

According to a source, the Heat requested a Zoom session with Maryland 6-10 forward Jalen Smith, a versatile big who can block shots and hit threes. Smith — projected to go to in the mid-teens in some mock drafts — averaged 15.5 points and 10.5 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in his second season at Maryland, while shooting 53.8 percent from the field and 36.8 percent on threes (32 of 87). Miami has the 20th overall pick in the Nov. 18 NBA Draft

It doesn’t mean the Knicks will pick him if he falls to No. 8 in the NBA Draft, but Killian Hayes currently has a narrow edge as the team’s second point guard on the board after LaMelo Ball, according to NBA sources.

Hayes, the 19-year-old left-hander who played in Germany last season, is considered to have a more supreme skill set than the other lottery-projected point guards such as Tyrese Haliburton, Kira Lewis, Cole Anthony, RJ Hampton, Theo Maledon and Tyrese Maxey.

smoke screen season had arrived. I think there’s some truth to that rumor involving us and the Knicks swapping picks. Hayes was one of our first contacts a while back and We’ve been rumored to be interested in trading for DSJ both in Dallas and now multiple times in NY. I think Thibs would love to add a player like AG. Don’t really see him keeping JuJu.

15 + AG + Lotto protected 2023 first for Randle + DSJ + 8
