2019 NFL Off-Season Thread

Vonn Bell made me a beliver the second half of the season 2 eyars ago and I rocks with Willams. Dude is always in the right place.

Apple needs to learn to turn his damn head around.

He was shaky for us but got better

I can dig all of that

Good luck w Apple. Kid has all the physical tools to be a good corner. However, has a low football IQ and awareness. Bad technique, which leads to him getting "grabby" w receivers. He also has difficulty being coached. Did not take constructive criticism well in NY. Nigga just can't find the ball when is In the air, which leads to alot of big plays given up

NFC East - Eagles, Giants, Skins, Ravens
NFC North - Bears, Packers, Vikings, Chiefs
NFC South - Texans, Saints, Titans, Falcons
NFC West - Cowboys, Cardinals, Chargers, Broncos

AFC East - Pats, Jets, Bills, Steelers
AFC North - Lions, Browns, Bengals, Colts
AFC South - Dolphins, Jags, Bucs, Panthers
AFC West - Raiders, Seahawks, Rams, 49ers

Still kept the Cowboys in the West but the travel is better with those teams

I'd fuck with that alignment.

Maybe a few minor tweaks here and there but the divisions are fine as is for the most part. It’s not like back in the day when the Cardinals were in the NFC East.

Id like to see a different alignment just to shake it up

NFC East - Eagles, Giants, Skins, Ravens
NFC North - Bears, Packers, Vikings, Chiefs
NFC South - Texans, Saints, Titans, Falcons
NFC West - Cowboys, Cardinals, Seahawks, Rams

AFC East - Pats, Jets, Bills, Steelers
AFC North - Lions, Browns, Bengals, Colts
AFC South - Dolphins, Jags, Panthers, Bucs
AFC West - Raiders, Broncos, Chargers, 49ers

was trying to stay true to geography, I put the Cowboys in the west cause they are more west than KC is

but that could make some interesting matchups
This would never work. You're splitting up too many rivalries. The Ravens and the Steelers have to be in the same division so do the Raiders and the Chiefs. The Skins hate the Cowboys most but the rest of the division hates them to so Dallas has to stay in the east.

I'll take it. Division win every year with only the Eagles putting up a fight.

NFL scheduling can allow for teams to play at leas two of thier rivals once if they still not in the same division

And this alignment will create new rivalries

Especially with several div having teams from the same state

The NFL would never split up these rivalries. Dallas/DC, Ravens/Steelers, Chiefs/Raiders and Fakcons/'Aints are ratings bonanzas for the networks and the league. You can even throw the Browns/Ravens, Bengals/Browns . Too many tickets and merchandise are sold around those games and too many ppl are watching twice a year every year to change it. You can try to create new rivaleries but the league and the fans will not destroy the best of the old rivaleries.

The Falcons/'Aints been going at it twice a year for 50 years. Ppl in ATL and NOLA plan trips back and forth for that game every year. We dont do that for Carolina with is only 4 hours away or Tampa which is on the beach. Regardless of the records the Falcons/'Aints is always the highlight of the season.

The idea of breaking up the Chicago/Green Bay rivalry is blasphemous. They are playing in the Thursday night season opening kickoff game this year. That game is always reserved for the SB champs. But the league is celebrating its 100th year anniversary and they choose to highlight its oldest rivalry instead of the current champion. That's how important the league sees these rivalries as. They'll rather highlight the oldest rivalry in the league than the defending SB champs and current dynasty. The league and the fans will NEVER break that rivalry up nor should they. The day the Bears/Packers arent in the same division is the day what's left of the NFL officially dies.

Every team in NFC east getting better. Giants rebuilding..oh well. These niggas better hit on these draft picks or all this shit was for nothing. That OBJ trade will be defined by what is grabbed with those draft picks. That 17th pick and the 3rd rounder need to develop into quality starters for that trade to be justified. Jabrill Peppers is what he is, those draft picks need to hit though.
