LOL at an owner being suspended from watching a game

Right. A little money n not being allowed to watch the game in the stadium supposed to get these dudes act right. Draft picks are their most valuable resource. Go after that, just how they go after players most valuable resource, which is money.

He's just a custo, but I just heard Adam Schefter say that he isn't even the highest profile name that may drop from this incident/story.

That tells me that there's a back channel of upper echelon "clientele" that have been hippin' each other to the spot for some time now. Question is did any of'em know about the trafficking.

Kraft and other rich muhfucka's outchea slummin' it.

Irsay probably a frequent custy. Jerry Jones probably own the spot lol

Is he really? Certain things are done for optics. The shit Kraft was on is one of them IMO.

Don't see how you can be for black people and a Trump donor and supporter at the same time.

Very true

I think he has something with Jay Z helping blacks get out of jail and program to help once they do.

I just don’t see Hov getting fucked over with this one.

NFLPA gotta do better with negotiations

they still the laughing stock among player unions

how tf you taking all the risks but allow yourselves to be cut at the drop of a dime so a team can avoid having to pay you

That word contract in the NFL is a joke

I think that's on the players, not the PA. They keep signing bad contracts, so they can't be mad when it ends poorly for them.

They need to sign short deals if they want to stop being dropped or underpaid.

Although it hurt my squad I was glad to see LeVeon make that sacrifice...the franchise tag is bullshit...utter bullshit...

just imagine if the NFLPA had the resolve that Lev Bell did...bruh left 14 mil on the table to make a point...

I hope the NFLPA takes notice...

nah

that's the NFLPA who negotiates that kinda shit on behalf of the players

the contracts are "bad" b/c they dont negotiate during collective bargaining periods actual guaranteed contracts

The players don't stand together. The owners do. Simple n plain. The injury rate does not side w the players, but there should be ways to meet halfway.

That's where I disagree. There's no contract template from the CBA. You get what you negotiate for. Cousins got a 3 year $84 million contract all guaranteed. Revis use to get good contracts too. Players just need to do shorter contracts, and get them fully guaranteed.

Hov probably wouldn't and ain't going to get fucked over.

Have to remember Kraft is wealthy. We've both read about wealthy people who registered and vote republican and they might give $1 million to the republican candidate but just in case the republican loses they also give 250K to the democratic candidate in case they win. So folks like Kraft have political person ear no matter who wins.

That's more how I see it when they do shit like that. I would be glad if it helps but they really don't give a fuck it does or doesn't help.

Bell overvalued himself, and wanted to fuck the Steelers over down the road. Don't let this dude play the victim/martyr role. He got offered 5 years/$70 min with $33 million guaranteed over the first 2 years.

He'd only get cut after that if his production doesn't match his cost. (And keep in mind the cap keeps going up, and players keep getting more. Shop you're actually becoming a cheaper player each year if your pay stays the same.) If it was all guaranteed, then at that point you're on the hook to over pay an expensive player with a hard salary cap.

Whether he overvalued himself is subjective

Ill say at the time his dispute first arose he was justified...

I do think that him sitting out hurt his value a tad bit...imo he not getting more than gurley but you never know

I say I hope the NFLPA took notice based off the principal alone...he was willing to sacrifice 14mil...

Just think if the players had that mentality in the next CBA...what they could accomplish

I do agree that they need to smarten up and start doing 2 and 3 yr deals like the NBA players

Would def help in getting more gauranteed money
