Still don’t understand how Iggy got it when LBJ put up historic numbers on dude all series

No he didn't casual, when iggy guarded lebron his #'s werent good he shot like 36% was volume shooting and his scoring dropped like 8-9 ppg

Volume shooting?

He was the only player on the team.

He didn’t do shit that deserved him to be a FMVP

LBJ every game did everything till he couldn’t anymore.

Steph and Durant shoud've been co mvp's last year. Their #s were pretty much identical.

Awwwwww poor bron tried to stack his team up again but kyrie and love who were both injury prone got injured...again

it was all gravy when the cavs swept the 60 win 1 seed hawks tho

stop exposing yourself and stick to discussing college football and 6 star recruits from Tallahassee you out your realm homeboy

Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala has done a better job guarding James than either of them(kahwi or jimmy), as you can see in the chart on the right. James is 18-of-54 against Iguodala in this series, and Iguodala's defense has been particularly good the past two games.

LeBron James. James had a monstrous series, but finished shooting under 30 percent from the field and was held to a minus net-rating when on the floor -- largely thanks to Iguodala.

When Iguodala was in the game, LeBron James shot 38.1 percent from the field, scoring 26 points per 36 minutes with 2.9 turnovers. With Iguodala on the bench, James shot 44 percent, averaging 35 points per 36 minutes with 2.2 turnovers. With Iguodala as the primary defender, opponents shot 37.2 percent overall, and he gave up free throws the same percentage of time (10.8 percent) that he forced a turnover, via Synergy Sports. Those are steller defensive numbers.

The opening topic was last night's GSW sweep and max kellerman literally talked about Lebron for 5 straight mins, shit's disgustin.

[Durant] can score from anywhere on the court in any circumstance.

The spirit of this is correct but it’s technically not true.

No pin downs, up top ISO’s, no catch & shoot, pnr as roll man. None of that, just simply throw it to him high post and work.

It’s ironic.

The fact that Steph’s ability enables him to be historically efficient with tiny slivers of daylight and very low usage; while manipulating and stretching the defense - gets role players and All stars wide open shots and makes this team one of the greatest of all time.

You almost refer to it as something easy that ANYBODY could do. That’s not true.

In fact very few have ever impacted the game that way.

Not even KD.

Durant is still the more talented player but Steph’s impact is greater.

Steph in game 3 last year was historically bad, and so was Klay. KD wasnt bad in any game and carried the warriors to a win with Curry and Klay having historically bad games.

Plus KD hit all the crucial shots and the dagger 3.

You cant get finals mvp if you have KD consistently averaging 35 in all 4 games and had him carry the whole team in a crucial game 3 on the road while you had a historically bad game.

Looking at averages doesnt tell the story.

Curry shoulda won finals MVP in the first finals.

I get why they gave it to iggy. If memory serves the warriors were down 2-1 to a Cavs team without Kyrie and K.Love and Bron was unstoppable. If Iggy didnt slow him down while also hitting 3s, the warriors coulda won that.

Curry still shoulda got that though

I just want to know if KD goes to the knicks next year (or whomever)

are we getting this "greatness" that we see with the warriors KD

or are we getting this KD

curious as fuck to know...

i've never understood why being on the winning team gets more attention than who was the better player in the series

The same goes for the regular season. Just because a team is winning the most doesn't mean the best player on that team is the MVP of the league.

Idk what you’re curious about? Are you trying to imply he didn’t show up in that finals? Because his line was

nope...i clearly said i wanna see him do it when it's his own team.....

and @5th Letter

not really cuz i dont come here for reactions...my narrative with KD is he is great, no doubt...but i wanna see him do it when it's his own team. Point blank. t

If durant leaves the warriors he gonna regret it cuz whatever he does or teams up with it will be much harder

lol @ thinking a durant kyrie combo winning anything

durant,ad and kyrie hypothetically sounds good on paper but you got 3 injury prone players who will have to compromise their roles and will be top heavy that's 3 max players with escalating salaries.Impossible to build a sustainable contender with 3 players taking up 90-95% of the cap
