Yo, @Caw Caw boys, what are your thoughts on Monty Williams?

im not sure how much he has changed since he left NOLA

i know basketball has changed a lot

i think he probably would've gotten a lot out of a Davis/Cousins pairing

he was big on slowing it down, and running halfcourt sets. I think the pelicans/hornets were at the bottom in pace during his tenure. He was definitely inside/out when it came to his offense. He did excel in out of time out plays imo. I think, they were ranked pretty high in the league in pts scored in those situations

BUT, he struggled with rotations as well. Not sure if it was due to the poorly constructed roster or if he was just stubborn. His defensive concepts were cool i guess. IIRC, he was big on hedging screens, but he didnt have the guard play to make that happen. He rarely switched on screens. My memory is foggy af and im not trying to be right, so i hope no poindexter nigga come in here with some shitty Basketball Reference shit trying to call me out, b/c i honestly dgaf

You did good OGCC

I don't care anything about his birthday but his resume is fuckin crazy. True legend.

Dude never missed the playoffs and from the time he stepped in the league and until the time he left he was competing for championships

Its crazy, basically anything less than a conference finals appearance was considered a bad season by his standards for his whole career

I honestly don't understand how people can marry narcissistic folks. Shit gotta be stressful or maybe folks like that prefer to be submissive

A narcissist wouldn't be attracted to a submissive person. They want the most resistance.
Or the narcissist themself wants someone they feel worthy of being submissive to.

@silverfoxx

It’s interesting

Nuggets
Raptors
Bucks
Celtics
Blazers
Rockets

All go 8-10 players deep.

Philly and the Dubbs are very top heavy teams.
