ahh ok...well im just going off MyGM in 2k LMAO, but you could just keep hiring them for short term contracts

Lakers fans, how did y'all respond when Kobe wanted to get traded for like 5 min before he changed his mind

the Lakers brass at the time was able to convince him to stay and the rest is history. granted at that time, he had already had a lot of post season success and went on to win 2 more titles

but this got me thinking about AD. What if Griffin convinces him to stay, sign the extension, and really puts a team around him that will actually compete for a title for a few years. Would that make everything ok with those who he alienated?

If I recall correctly, I was more upset with the organization than Kobe. I understood where the demand came from.

It's sad either way with how this off season will go for Charlotte because they might be forced to massively over pay a good ( not great) aging player to stay some what relative as a low playoff seed. Or totally rebuild starting with a mediocre draft pick.
