Cavs vs Celtics on tnt tonight. Curious to see how the cavs look

Melo was never a good defender but he really hit rock bottom on defense last year. Im Melos biggest supporter and it was just hard to watch. Im expecting Melo to be even worse this year.

With Melo out there, not only will Melos defense be exploited but Hardens defense will get worse.

On most nights yall gonna be so good offensively its not gonna matter.

Against Elite teams, yall gonna struggle on defense, especially against gsw because the switching that made yall so effective against them is gonna be impossible because Capella wont be able to leave Cousins with a smaller defender.

That's legit the only weakness yall have. But its a big one.

I can feel you on that, I would like to see him play mostly with the bench unit regradless of whether he starts or not......however I do think Harden and Paul are going to make him look really good when either one of them/both are on the court with him

Defensively my expectations are low but I just want effort and if he is contributing on offense at a high enough level I'll live with sub par defense from him......I think its going to depend if he closes or not but there will some where its going to be impossible to play him late

Concerning the Warriors I dont expect Melo to close but I will say Cousins is going to be just as much of a liability as Melo and Steph is still food on that side of the court too

Early overreactions

Ennis is going to be a great fit which I already knew

MCW is active, I like what he brings on defense and as an additional ball handler

Marquese Chriss has low basketball IQ and the WOAT hands but was much better in the second half

Melo looks committed and focused, dude is going to have a really good year

The loss of Jeff Bzdelik will have an impact on our defense

Webber problem is he thinks he actually "cool" when he's not. Just do your job which is to give the analysis of the game from a former pro. All that slick shit he think he saying makes his sound dumb as shit. Webber tries to commentate the game like Jalen Rose talks on the Jalen and Jacoby show. Even though he had a better career he fuck around and is a lil jealous of Jalen cause he gets more love from the people than he does.
 
Next preseason game I want to see Caboclo get some minutes with actual rotation players
 
TNT needs to seriously revamp their broadcast teams. Marv needs to be demoted. Love him but he’s up there in age and still keeps forgetting names. Kevin Harlan needs to be moved up. Change both Reggie and Webber please.

And ESPN announce teams > TNT announce teams
