They should've done it. Fuck France and their neocolonialism but also fuck military juntas. At some point Africa has to start pushing back against these fucking coups. There's been 7 in West Africa in 3 fucking years. Nigeria and ECOWAS were correct in their movements. Constantly letting chaotic shit like that be the status quo will keep them from progressing. Having military juntas on your border is also destabilizing for you. This isn't just a Niger/Mali/Burkina Faso problem, it's a problem for the entire region.

Having an African group step in to solve an African problem seemed like the absolute best-case scenario.

I would rather the Chinese or Russians in Africa building stuff than the west & EU raping the continent & holding them as SLAVES
