NBA Ratings Drastically Down This Year, Every Other Sports League Ratings Is Up

I'm not sure how y'all solve a 2-3 hr time difference for most of the country when the West coast people are still at work while games on the other coast are starting

I don’t see the issue. Last TNF game started at 7:15pm central. Both west coast teams. In the NBA finals, the western conference home games doesn’t start at 930pm central. Have your star players playing in prime time not late night with Jimmy Kimmel.

NBA needs a NFL type TV format. Get away from the late night double headers. Niggas shouldn’t have to stay up to 11pm to see Suns vs Warriors. Your premier players are playing and half the county is sleep. Only 1 prime time game on Tues, Weds, Fri, Sat nights. Tip Off 7:15pm central. Promote your young stars.
In theory that’s a great idea, but how long is the season going to be if we go by that strategy?

or you’re just talking televised games and not games in general? How would this help west coast scheduling?

Its the 3s . That make it less enjoyable to me also everytime you turn on a game you havent started on someone is up 20.. i also abhor analytics outside of the data that speaks to team/player trends and tendencies..

I like flow i like synergy i like competitive fire...

What are you talking about? Getting a guy to stand in the corner and play d? Bet you cant name 5 players that only do that.
Viewer ratings are down because the Nets traded for extra picks?

Those couldn't be the points you were trying to make so I'll shoot you some bail and say I'm misunderstanding you.
This is the response that people like me get when we try to explain to you die hards what the issue is.

Cause of the perspective that yall have, yall are of a generation that was birthed into the game the way it is. We are from a generation that was before it and watched it birth into what it is.

You are talking skills and attributes and I’m talking attitudes and perception. You think I’m just speaking for me.

There’s an audience that is a part of the whole that you don’t value cause they ain’t like you. I’m sorry but a lot of dudes stand in the corner and play D.

I know you know better I know you know looks and set ups, it’s like me saying offensive lineman just block. I know they do more than block a guy infront of them.

Imagine a NfL team trading a first for a guard, that doesn’t stand out any way that would dictate they are worth a first. Imagine you trade for that and that guy says he’s got the shakes and can’t play on passing downs.

From a perspective point of view, what the value of first round and how do you use it?

These rating drops ain’t cause of you basketball technicians. It’s cause the NBA places value on things that “only” “they” get, that don’t stand out and end up not even seeming to be worth the value they are supposed to hold.

And how am I pose to value you, if you don’t value you ?

Just the national televised games. You get a prime time game l, you play at 7:15pm. Like the Lakers/Wolves should be on ABC tonight.

Big regular season games and Playoff games on Saturday and Sunday on NBC was a huge part of the NBA growing. They stopped that shit and started putting the marquee games on cable at 10 pm.
