Don’t we as black folks consider race as a major factor on how we do things

Latinos, Asians and Whites all do.
Race will never be dead because it's impacted how major decisions that still affect us today are made. You can try and argue it's not as big of a factor but to say it's dead is lying to yourself. If it wasn't dead then it wouldn't have been such a big part of this election

Race wasn't a big part of the election.

Americanness and the economy was.

Race mattered to Black people and literal Nazis that read a racial drama in every campaign

The Asians and Latinos that voted for Trump did not care about race and probably don't even factor it in their daily life.

Point is, the paradigm of the 1960s that Black folks abide by is a relic of an era that did not have the demographic complexity and various interpretations of what it means to be an American. It's an era that we dominated American consciousness and it's gone now.

The far-right being able to get Latino and Asian voters is something shows you that the racial paradigm is dead.

Native-born Black Americans need a serious upgrade in their understanding of what America is and what it isn't.

Race is a dead concept. It's a dead end and will not yield any insights into the current situation. It's your citizenship status, nationality, lineage, family status, and your class that determines everything.

Anti-Blackness isn't racism. It's a worldwide caste aversion due to the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.

You said all that just to at the end describe racism. You're witnessing in real time conservatives try and do with Asians and white Latinos what they did whag the Italians and Irish. It worked with Asians which is how they got duped into attacking Affirmative Action. Everything you're describing is based in racism still because it requires viewing Black people through the lense of being Black 1st still in order to continue to justify this world wide treatment in their minds

Meh, She not gonna win. Joe Biden 2.0. She needed to be different.

I haven't been wrong yet. Two things are going on. Trump is getting desperate and Democrats think they are up so they wanna coast. The momentum is gone, book mark this post.

I literally said this on the last night of the DNC in this thread while everyone was libbed up, so you not talking to me.

Told y'all niggas back in July this shit wasn't gonna end well for the democrats

It’s crazy cause Democrats are terrible at showing and telling Americans about their achievements, Democratic Presidents have better economies factually and historically speaking compared to Republican Presidents

Terrible....

Objectively the economy is better but thats not how normal people measure a good economy. People measure a "better" economy on can they pay their rent, can they afford groceries, do they have money to enjoy fun things in life.

They do not in this economy. No one cares about how wall street is doing.

Dems will have to put together that "care package" This is a new day baby.

Aint no more bringing out celebs and thinking they will get black voters out.

I'm curious to know how many black folks sat at home or voted for someone else, I think that number is very high. It was a reason she kept pandering to black folks up until her election.

And that’s been Democrats problem. They rely on macro-economic measures to show how well they are doing and the American populace just doesn’t understand how all of that works. Or they don’t care to your point.

So when democrats say hey, inflation is low and outperforming other developed countries after COVID. Interest rates are coming down. Our plan is working but we need a bit more time because there’s stages to get where we’re going.

The people say you should have fixed everything in your first 2 years and since you didn’t we don’t like you.

Democrats need to get their ears to the street early and make plans to respond to people’s concerns.

Plus it’s hard to play fair when you’re going against Donald Trump. If they were like him they would have gaslighted everybody into believing everything is fine.

Just look at the popular votes and swing states.

She still won the black demographic but more blacks voted for him compared to 2020

She won the black vote and less black voted, that number will fall even lower if the dems don't put something in a bag.

If only 10 blacks voted and participated out of 100,000 that's registered, all 10 voted for her, would you say that she got the black vote, is that really saying something?? just asking

Again, there was a big reason on to why she kept pandering to the black crowd. Folks are not talkin about that.
