Other races do not stick together like you're saying. Latino's and white people are more divided politically than Black people.

Look at the numbers. Look at the votes for Black people. 80% for democrats for both Black Men and Black Women. Now look at the votes for whites, latinos and asians. Their votes are more split and divided than Black people yet here you are saying that we don't move as a whole better than they do but all the data out there says that we do.

Did you not see white women and white men?

Man look, I voted the whole ballot just like I do every time except president. I haven't voted president the last 3, no the last 2 times, I actually did vote for Hillary "to keep Trump out" with y'all. It failed and that was the last time I ever voted against anything. I'm voting for something or not at all
Dawg

Why have you never said this until now?

Would've cut out a ton of unnecessary back and forth

"Working Class" is coded language for racist white people.

Also, $25,000 for first time home buyers, $8,000 for newborns, student loan debt forgiveness, and lower cost for medicine are all working class things. How was Harris/Walz not running on a working class agenda?

That's not what the people want lol. They don't want free shit.

Nah his ego is waaaaaay too big to resign. If he could find a way to get rid of the 8 year term limit he would do it in a heartbeat.

Hopefully his ego is placated by this win and him beating those charges...which also leads me to a 3rd person who won't be looked at fondly. Merrick Garland. Had his ass not drug his feet and hit Trump with the charges right away his ass would've been locked up by now and unable to run.

You don't need a political jester if you have organization and a committed political ideology.

Trump doesn't win shit if he doesn't provide results.

He doesn't provide results if the Republicans haven't been planning to stack the courts when they realized the White majority will be loss in back in the 90s.

The Republican turn to the far right is a multi-generational effort.

It isn't because of his personality and how he says shit.

It's because him winning gives people what they actually want and need.

If Donald Trump wasn't a weirdo and looked like Don Draper, he would be king right now.
The Terminator governed a whole state and the apprentice guy is now the president for the 2nd time. It’s about how you make people FEEL. Obama gave folks hope

The Dems will NEVER win another presidential election if they don't run on "care packages" for each group in this country.

The Dems will NEVER win.

Folks want shit to have and look forward to having shit given to them. Black folks in particular.

That message is Loud and Clear. Black folks want a "care package" for themselves. You can fight with that statement, kick it around, get mad at me for saying it out Loud, I don't care, this energy is out in the universe.

Black folks want something for their vote for themselves. You won't shame them anymore, you can't run out celebs.

Listen to me Dems.

Black folks need a "care package" for ONLY them. Get it tattooed on your face if you have to. Don't ask me silly ass questions about what and how. Figure the shit out. Give the black folks what they want and you will get a Dub.

And repubs were saying who is going to pay for all of this

When Biden tried to give people student debt relief a lot of people were mad.

You’re being overly simplistic about this. It’s much more complicated than you seem to understand.
And then Kamala basically said she wasn't sure she could uphold Biden's decision against the courts. That told me all I needed to hear. I would have voted for Biden because he was trying hard to keep his promise it seemed, and I have an interest in not repaying that loan. I didn't vote for Trump, but I also didn't vote for Kamala and it felt like she didn't care about securing that same base that Biden was barely holding onto.

Trump’s win disagrees with you. He did not run on packages to monolithic groups. He ran on people’s personal, individual needs, not some overarching agenda based on identity politics.

Identity politics are dead after this one.

People want free shit. They just wanna feel like they deserve it above other people. Those other people being anybody not white

No, they don't want free shit.

This is why Democrats and liberals are insufferable.

Y'all think like how a super trick think.

"All women like money and gifts. If I offer this and she is going to be down for me."

And when she rejects you and shows you what she wants, then it's:

"Fuck you bitch. You don't know what's good for you. You never liked me, you just want me for my money."

It's the same mentality.

Trump offers people a chance to be part of a project. It's literally called MAGA. Trump offers people a chance to be part of a redemption story.

Elon Musk literally said if he's appointed to the cabinet, his economic plan will be hard on people and Trump won the popular.

People don't want free shit. They want to be part of a grand narrative and contribute. They want unity with like-minded people.

Y'all literally watching a fascist movement sweep the country and don't understand why it works lol.

This is the logic I don’t understand. Not voting for someone because they won’t give you something and allowing someone else win who isn’t even trying. This goes for this take, Latinos, blacks, Arabs, etc.

Folks are speaking on how Kamala got the black support by the % of men and women.

What I'm asking you is how that support is measured.

If 20 million black folks are registered voters but only 2 million black folks outta of that 25 million came out and voted for her.

Would the media say that Kamala got the black support because 2 million black folks voted for Kamala? They have 2 million on row that voted, cast votes into the system, would the media/stat technician take that 2million and see that Kamala got all 2 million votes which would result in her having 100% support from black folks.

Is this the way they calculate the % that she receives from certain groups, with the number of votes cast for them??

Ok. I understand what you asking.

What I'll say is this. Eliminate race for a second.

In 2024, 244 MILLION people were eligible to vote. 244 MILLION. Wanna guess how many people voted? The final number will be under 140 MILLION.

In order to start addressing the point you're making, you first need to take a step back and examine the voting landscape for the entire country. The fact of teh matter is that the majority of people do not vote regardless of age, race, or gender.

Also keep in mind that Black people only make up 14% of the TOTAL population in America. Only 34 MILLION Black people were eligible to vote in 2024. Out of the 34 MILLION, only 10% voted.

Prior to yesterday, Democrats had won 3 of the last 4 elections. Democrats have also won 6 of the last 8 popular votes.

This is a hot take.

Chill.

It had less to do with her securing the base and more to do with the base supporting her. She ran on the things needed to secure the base. She's also a Black woman. remember those white moderate votes that Biden won over in 2020 that I said he was the only candidate capable of getting? She didn't get them. It's not because of her policy or agenda which is.........Biden's agenda that those same people voted for in 2020.

The difference between Kamala and Biden is in their appearance. Not on policy or agenda. It's the same policy and same agenda. One has a pussy and is Black though so..................
