FEATURED How Do You Feel About Kamala's Policy Proposals For Black Men?

test
Too little too late. The lack of respect to announce a plan (which some key words she used - "proposal" ) to black men few weeks before the election ...because we are a force...where we are saying we will vote red, green or vote the couch...we've said we are not afraid of Orange man...and we don't fall in line with a co-playing chameleon east indian woman who washes her collard greens in the bathtub...black women disrespected us initially when they demanded the Dems have a woman in the seat and donated millions to copmala who didn't have an agenda!

SHE DOESNT HAVE A POLICY SPECIFICALLY FOR BLACK FOLKS..

*she releases policy for black folks*

ITS TOO LATE! 😭😒

She didn't have one, she placed a duty on us regardless of her plans and as usual said it was mysogeniy if we didn't vote for her.

This probably should be it's own thread, but what are issues regarding black men that should be addressed?
Criminal Justice Reform should be at the TOP of this list.

Fair resources and educational opportunities to avoid gentleman lost in the Criminal Industrial Complex.

Fair and equitable housing.

An END to the welfare stipulation that says men can’t be in the home in order for a family to receive benefits….at least for a 24-month periods (barring certain exceptions like disabilities)

A lot of businesses fail within the first 2 to 5 years so I'm not sure a business loan is what blacks need right now. And if it's what we need how come those loans can’t be grants instead?

Also everyone ain't cut out to be entrepreneurs.

That health shit is meh. Obama made it easy for everyone to take care of their health. Was it used to their advantage or ignored?

Foh with that crypto shit.

My takeaways from the thread so far.

1. People really don’t understand basic civics and how the US political system works. People expecting her to be queen and grant all needs at the exclusion of other demographics, ignoring that she’ll need congressional consensus.

2. It’s actually beneficial to release a platform targeted to black men this close because people start paying more attention the closer we get to an election.

3. For people asking for criminal justice reform, the George Floyd Act covers that so not like it hasn’t been proposed. See point 1 for the rest.

4. Trump told Jews they need to have their head examined if they vote Democrat. So to say only black men get lectured is not true. Imagine if Kamala said if black men don’t vote for her they need to get their head examined, lol.

5. Trump’s platform for black men is shoes, mugshots, and felonies.

6. There’s nothing at all Kamala can do to convince some of you to vote for her. Even if her platform gave everything you wanted, you’d be skeptical and say she wouldn’t do it. Even so, she’d need more than just an edict, see point 1.

Taken at face-value it's more than what any other president in our lifetime has proposed at that level.

What else do you expect? Politicians can't simply show up at your doorstep and hand you a silver platter full of guaranteed wealth and resources. And if they could, then the question is, What are you going to do with it? And what you doing with the resources already under your control?

Like I said, black people are doing better than they ever have been in this country. If you let someone else convince you otherwise, that's on you, but no one is going to spoon feed you the truth and drop all the game on you about what should be done in life to be considered a success. If they did, you wouldn't use it with justice anyway. And that's the real problem in the community. No justice, because no ethics

If any Black person supports Trump after he looked at Byron Donald and said "That one is smart" then you've truly got no self respect. I can see reasons why someone wouldn't vote for Kamala. I can't see any reason a Black person votes for Trump

The Devil never tempted sinners to do his dirty work. God never had to promise the pious salvation.

Motherfuckers been having the same responses to the political situation of Black folks since Nixon.

Absolutely nothing has changed. Time is wasted on a people that refuse to use it to overcome the arguments of their forebears.
