What's The Weirdest Thing Society Accepts As Normal?

I saw a recent video about this

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m getting to the point where I’m sick and tired of the entertainment system in a car being one whole touchscreen

I want buttons when it comes to changing the volume or a/c and most other things

And some of these screens look cheap as shit. @AP3.0 and I noticed that in the new altimas and other Nissans that the screen looks cheap and tacky

They all look cheap as shit.

And I feel you on this shit. It's the biggest thing I hate about newer cars next to knobs instead of a proper shifter.

You mean manual? If you do then I definitely understand. That seems to be slowly going away because of the move to electric

Bro, there were DBZ games back in the 90s that didn't have 20 characters. Then when you get to the games that did have as many characters as FighterZ, half the characters were practically clones. I liked the Budokai Tenkaichi games, but the characters weren't that much different from each other. Creating unique characters takes much development time and resources than cookie cutter characters.

See this? King of Fighters 2002 had 39 characters, the vast majority of which had completely unique moves and animations. There's no excuse.

lol If you can't understand the difference in creating a KoF character vs a SF6 or MK1 character, I don't know what to tell you.

They probably could give us 39 characters now if they just went back to sprite based gameing that largely reused assets from game to game. Nobody wants that. Nobody wants a game that looks like something from 20 years ago.

Yeah, I do know: before I got into IT heavy I was focused on game development, I had been doing that since '82 on the Apple ][+.

Do you really think there was no reuse between SF5 and SF6??? Mocap skeleton animations for both is prolly the same, the 3d models are more than likely the same, just with much better textures on them. It would be far easier to just re-skin the existing 3d models than it would to recreate them from scratch.

And none of that stops them from including more characters and just making them unlockable via skill like previous games did.

It’s also far less safe

With tactile buttons you can operate them without taking your eyes off the road

They just passed some Bill or something in California I believe that basically says we do not actually own these games we buy

If something happens with a company and their game, they can simply remove it from a digital marketplace and you will never be able to play it again unless you own a physical copy provided one exists in the first place

Also, call of duty modern warfare I believe was the first game that introduced the current 69.99 price tag. Or is it 59.99?

Whatever, but the reason they did this was to claim that the games were getting more and more expensive to make and the old 49.99 wasn't enough to recoup costs on the front end . Plus the cost to make discs, cases, cover art and manuals.

With digital gaming, you have eliminated all of these so why is the cost still the same as when you had physical copies of games?

The bill is actually that game companies had to “admit” that we don’t actually own the games, but yeah.

Sexualizing yourself and others for money & views. Instagram is a cesspool for wannabe pornstars.
Got women pretending to breastfeed babies just so they can show their titties.
Women wearing see thru dresses so you can see their hanging pussy lips.
Walking around in public with cameltoes on purpose.
ETC.

Not to even mention the surgeries they get to be "sexy".

Society made a regular ass Becky famous bcuz they want to see her spit on that thang. That's ridiculous.

GM introduced the first mass produced touch screen in a car on the 80's Buick Riviera. The first thing folks said was that it was dangerous because it took your focus off the road for too long.

Nah, brand new copies of games for PSX, Saturn, and N64 were selling for $59.99 back when I worked for FuncoLand in '95/96 unless you caught it on sale for $50.

Yeah I had a Jaguar XF a few years back and the touchscreen was a death trap

Had to do everything on the screen and it wasn’t very sensitive so you had to hard press or double press buttons a lot. All while in motion.
