I feel you bro, you just gotta ask them to either explain themselves by asking them simple questions when they come into threads trying to deflect or shift the energy.

Just simply explain your reasoning, back it up with 'facts' that I can look and see and we good. They reason to why the bill was not second motioned was because.........

If he can't do it, then he's trolling, trying to cap, upset that he can't put together a counter or a factual answer, and again trolling/deflecting.

The truth can make people do such things.

I just asked buddy since he came into this thread knowing the reasoning to why the democratic party blocked the bill, and they didn't second motion the bill, he knows why, so just give the reason, and we can move on.

If they can't explain their post with 'facts' treat it like an opinion and move on, that's what I do. You gotta back that up with facts

Yes vote them out. If the rest of the caucus members are safe until 2026, now is a good time to start vetting possible primary candidates who will make this bill a priority if it doesn't get passed in the next session.

Well they probably should care or else they'll keep getting fucked over and not knowing how to possibly correct things and get what they want. Not caring about why something got shot down and the channels it had to go through hurts far more than it helps. And that ignorance is what folks in power count on

You have to be certain way to get into these organizations, this group along with other black groups has been around for almost 60- 100 years now and black folks are still in last place in 2024.

What way would you want them to proceed?? what is the correct way in your opinion?


What way would you want them to present the Reparation Bill, how would you do it to get this bill passed? What should have done first, second, third to get these bills passed.

You seem to know the process on how they should have gotten this bill pass, would you explain the process.?

If you're mad but don't understand civics 101 that's the issue because you are not assigning outrage to the appropriate entity.

You can't be mad at your dad when your mom is the one who punished you

Also, you can't claim that someone is an intelligent person but they don't think. That's a key component of intelligence.

No one is saying blacks in California don't have a right to be upset. What we are saying is point that anger to the correct people and think to understand how civics works. This really isn't a hard concept to grasp but you're so caught up in trying to pin something on Kamala because she's on the Democratic ticket, that it is blinding any ability to have rational thought

The first thing you have to do to be a member of the Louisiana black caucus is you have to be elected to the legislature.

That response was based on you saying they couldn't care less. They did go about it the right way. But your pov is basically ignoring that to say "See Dems are bad" because it didn't pass. You know how a bill is passed. What you're actually trying to ask and failing at is the "why" the bill didn't pass. And we know the reason why and this was said on abw when it was first talked about months ago and told to your cosigner who bragged about it as well that it wouldn't pass.

A reparation bill got shot down by the democratic party, black folks will be upset, but you're saying that they shouldn't be upset because they don't know Civics?

Folks are stating that they will make the democratic party pay, those members. Some folks will not support the democratic party.

What's wrong with black folks feeling that way, they are done with the party??

I still don't understand how Civic, knowing Civic is supposed to keep them tied to a party that they've just seen shot down their dreams.

I wasn't on here months ago, Could you tell me why the bill was shot down by the Democratic party??

Explain to me why a second motion was call upon by a Democratic member, a Republican brought the bill to the floor
