He's right. Some of that shit didn't age well (not in an offensive sense) but the 2019 up till the pandemic era stuff had some stinkers.

New company. So they was just figuring things out. And the pandemic didn't really help either. Can't really gage the audience's feelings if there's only a handful in the stands. This is why I still give AEW leway. Folks need to keep being reminded that they're a 4 year old company.

I actually enjoyed a lot of the AEW pandemic stuff. They handled it way better than any other company did. A lot of enthralling stuff happened during that time.
The 2019-early 2020 stuff just wasn't good. They were still fresh. The main event stuff was good but some of those undercards? sheesh.
Why, as many spears, powerbombs and cutters being used as finishers.
