After learning the twist, this was actually disturbing. The whole movie you're rooting for the family only to be gut punched by the reveal.
I heard a few people laugh when Red first spoke inside the house but you gotta think when the last time she had to use English.
Only English she knew is stories read to her and the movies she watched that was next to the TV.
Which those movies pretty shaped her thinking, Chud being the clear reason.
Still trying to figure out if the movie that was next tv, called The Right Stuff plays a part too.
Once we see the reveal, we understand why she was really scared. It wasn't trauma from the experience but extreme guilt.
That's why she was so paranoid when Jason couldn't be found.
I got a few more that I'm still trying to piece together.

I peeped the twist from a mile away.I figured the reason why they were hunting the family is because she was the real Addy.

Plus when they didn't show her just running out,I figured there was a reason for that.

But the movie still gave me enough doubt to doubt my guess,but be side eying Addy still

Yea the twist was foreshadowed a mile away ...decent movie not better than his first joint also I m not a fan of the depiction of the black man in the movie....lastly no one had a hammer in the entire movie? The entire movie was a commercial for the right to bear arms

clones can look like people but be controlled by their creators.

americans......are waking up and when they take their rightful place they wont be controlled.

so the people who look like us are actually our allies but where brainwashed to be against us.

we then lose focus on the real evil.

the lil boy picked up a rock......that rock has more significance than you realize.

it looks like a geode.
its beautiful inside while the outside is hardened.
thats what american blacks are.


and the fact the the parents dont listen to each other...in either generation didnt help.

the man didnt protect his family......

basically .....we have to fight each other and everyone else.
but i kinda see it saying we are blowing our chance and others need to come and do it. while we made a way we are not taking advantage of it.

I had a problem with how he was written at moments...

When his wife gets dragged into the white ppl house homie said I'm just gonna slow walk this cracka to the boat for 10 mins. No sense of urgency for his wife


Then right after pluto dies and red takes Jason and adelaide runs to look for them, homie walks with his daughter and says "she'll be iight let's go look for some bandages in the ambulance...."

What?!

IDK why ppl don't understand that getting hit in the knee with a bat can break or sprain a knee

In real life you can't walk on a broken or freshly sprained knee

he wanted to get the white man away from the family so he led him to the boat where he knew he had the flare gun in his boat.

At the end he was still hurt,but also the mother ran off before he could say anything and only she knew where Red took her son,plus she didn't want her family to even know she was one of the tethered.

he was using the bat as a crutch and got to the boat as fast as he could.

He got there way before the white dude

I wanted him to not be so calm after seeing his wife dragged into a house and wanted him to seem to care more after his son got took and his wife ran off while there's a bunch of red clones out there and dead bodies around

lol that top part wasn't even supposed to be part of that post.That's why it's all misspelled.it was short hand
