My experience a with Taurus as an owner is only with The Judge. I never had the issues that plague others, but it seems the company is going to shit.

I got the AR15 version and bought the 60 rd magpul drum. Was thinking about picking up this one to deal with some pesky groundhogs.

I think S&W has a great lineup of rifles. Fun to shoot, accurate, well built and not too expensive.

I grabbed it cause it was cheap as hell and i'm teaching my daughter to shoot but you're right it's accurate, quiet and shoots like a dream so I had to put a few dollars into it.

My stepfather used to keep a compact Taurus 9mm in his glovebox and a couple in his bedroom within arms reach on either side of the bed. He swore by Taurus back inna day. Don't know about 'em now tho.
