They specifically ask her if she smoked weed in college. She said she did. As a follow-up, Envy asks her what she listed to when she was high. She said Snoop and Pac. There are only two ways you can take that exchange. Either, she was saying that she smoked weed in college and listened to those artists while she was smoking weed or she was getting high well after college and was listening to those artists while doing it. Neither is a good look for her. So I don't even understand what benefit of the doubt you're giving her. You have to just be denying reality. Now you can question people's interpretation of her intentions. That's fine. Most people seem to think that she was trying to sound hip and messed up. I guess you could say that she wasn't really doing that, she was just nervously giving an answer to questions that she might not have wanted to answer and didn't think them through fully. Either way, I don't see how you interpret what she said any way other than "I smoked weed and listened to those artists while I did it."
On top of that, this whole debate is stupid. Who gives a shit what artists she listened to and when. The chick built her career off being hardlined against black nonviolent drug offenders, and she's never apologized or admitted wrong for that. She's not trustworthy when it comes to the stances she takes. At her townhall she said she wants Medicare for All, when asked the next fucking day if that's what she wanted, she was basically like "Well...I'll consider other options." She's playing political games man, and she's not that good at it. Her and Corey Booker are shitty politicians that want to try and use their race to gain brownie points. They want to be the next Obama, but they aren't even as genuine as he was and he was still a corrupt corporate democrat.
