Not always. Thats revisionist bullshit. We still hold the record for most consecutive clean sheets in the PL with that back line of Van Der Sar, Vidic and Rio. Fergie always knew the importance of a good defence.

Yeah thats true, but there were times/periods where we did have to outgun teams... Especially when Rio and Vidic got on and Rio's back started creaking haha
