Hmmmm
He had alot of good points. Very few I didn't agree with.
I still think this needs it's own thread.

We have alot of dudes doing the right thing.....but many more either slowing the progress, creating more problems or sitting on the side line being average and saying "people are doing something see look at him!" but it's just not for them.

I do think gang dudes should wise up . If they have the clout..why not link with other leaders to stop shit.
I do think this problem of ours is easily solved. But which generation will be the one to sacrifice for the greater good?

Buncha fuck niggas just rampant.
Tough talking niggas who need to be talked to nicely. How does that make sense?
Buncha I don't brag niggas.
Man don't get me started.

*Edit*
Ya know

We need a thread about it

I feel him but this is sort of short sighted and not understanding of the position the big homie is in. He may have that understanding and awareness, and know better. The rest of the hood and surrounding hoods don't give a fuck about his ascension to maturity.

Added to that, he is a felon and black so ain't like he can really jump into the world of business. What he does have is his rep., and he can tell lil niggaz that ain't built for that. Fall back and work on getting out of here. He can tell the knuckle heads, to fall back when the kids get off the bus.

Fall back from the playground areas, fall back from civilians, let them do what they gotta. He can't stop it totally, but its a form of controlled burn. That same dude that he said that was crippin and told homie not to wet up his brother. Was on the same type of mind frame of the men that he's bashing.

He's upset at the community, he has survivors remorse. He don't see that he can be a community organizer, he has the education and clean record. He has the knowledge of who is the big homie, he has the ability to utilize that and be what he says the big homie can't. He don't believe in himself, so he's pointing fingers instead of being assertive about it.

Go ahead and make it.

Better you than me, because most of mine tend to flop.

Funny that I was thinking about you when I first saw this.

Just wondering if you'd be the lady looking at her in disgust............or the one who wouldn't care about it either way.
Depends what mood I'm in that day but most likely not gaf.

Good point.

He's doing his thing, but he was more or less saying the same thing that you are........just in a different way.

Basically, saying the Big Homie should stay in his lane and not try to be something he's not cut out for.

Like you said, the OG would be good at keeping shit away from schools, civilians, etc.

That's his lane.

Outside of that, however, OG should leave the rest up to people like dude in the video since......like you said........the Big Homie isn't cut out to be a community organizer in the truest sense of the word.

The comments were interesting too.

One of them said something to the effect of.........the educated dudes who grew up in the hood were considered lames while they were there, so......once they made it out.......they didn't feel like they had to reach out to a community that never showed them any love to begin with.

Especially considering that they don't think they're responsible for the condition of the community since they didn't create it.

Hold up.......here it is:

Topp Dawg 1 day ago

"There's usually a reason why the educated lame don't go back to the community. There is a mindset that his Docker wearing ass didn't fuck it up why should he clean it up

if anyting people made it hard on that lame because he was considered lame. There's a reason why they turn they backs because they know the hood never had theirs"
