most of the incidents and confiscations never make press, cuz the list would be too long...Someone please find me a story when I person with locs blew up a plane or hid drugs in their hair. Until then I will be bothered by it. There are stories about drugs moving in Afrikan weaves but not locs

I was bracing myself to remove it but the TSA at JFK r luckily mostly black. just patted it down and knew the deal. 1 even recognized me from a previous visit n had a pleasant convo.
i think some r more flexible than others. ive dealt with some stank attitude airport workers b4.

and that's bullshit...many ppl view their SO's kids as their SO's responsibility. they aren't a responsibility that comes with the relationship, they're the responsibility of the person who came into the relationship with them. taking them on 'as their own' is a voluntary choice.

for all u know, the bio father might have not wanted to give up parental rights n let the stepfather adopt them. or the father could be involved and not want the mother's boyfriend to completely take over.
I know of women who get into serious relationships and pay 2/3rds of the rent n groceries because they believe they should cover their child's portion of expenses instead of split it with their partner. it happens.
