Welcome To aBlackWeb

I think they'll find a way to do some universe merging/shifting shit with the second Infinity War movie. That's the perfect opportunity to do so and by the time that is released the Fox deal should be finalized.

They already apparently film multiple endings... I cant see a reason they wouldnt film an ending that includes a teaser or hint of the newly acquired characters

Do you think they should stick with the current X-Men actors?

No J. Law in the MCU?
same answer as before

i bet you could cast a relatively unknown actress as Mystique and she will be WAY better than any version of J.Law

lets be real, she was cast that to bring some star power to that film, but as far as fleshing out the character, i blame the shitty scripts and meh performances by her

lmao while I didnt mind the new cast.... I wouldnt be upset if they scrapped the current one. None of them ever really OWNED those roles imo.

Keep Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and bring back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine

I wouldn’t be mad if they kept Michael Fassbender as Magneto. He was dope in that role.

I assumed that they'd let those movie ride and then introduce new X-Men to the MCU somehow.

I doubt they mix the X-Men Universe w/ the MCU. Especially if they are going to be true to X-Men. Between the movies and tv series there has never been any mention of mutants, from my recollection, in the MCU. And the X-Men have been around for decades, how are they gonna explain were they been at all these years w/o it looking stupid.

But the comics is the source material and you have to assume that it hasn't happened before because of the licensing issues

Yeah, but they just gonna do a Deadpool-esque joke about the licensing?

That works for Deadpool, but it could come off a cheesy for the MCU.

reality, time and/or mind stones can fix that problem

The Mind Stone wouldn't work cuz it's just a more powerful Professor X. Wouldn't explain where they were all this time.

The Time Stone could work if only there are mutants in the future. Like I mentioned the X-Men have been around decades, so they can't be in the past or present.

The Reality Stone could also work cuz they could've been sent to an alternate universe. But then there's who sent them there and why? And if there were mutants a one point here, did regular humans also go to that alternate reality, that there's no mention of mutants, ever. And unless there is an alternate universe where this MCU resides and one where the X-Men resides, what about the X-gene?

To me it’s easy. The mutants always existed they just weren’t mentioned on screen. You could even show what was going in the world of the X Men during some major MCU events.

Wasn't the Mind Stone what gave Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver their powers? Maybe the mind stone activated their x-gene.

Couple that with the Time stone, going in the past and rewriting shit and you got your solution

But then that pretty much erases a huge theme in the X-Men universe: your born this way/ human evolution.

"...You think you're the only superhero in the world Mr Stark? You've just become part of a bigger universe; you just don't know it yet..." - Nick Fury, end credits scene from "Iron Man"

They can use that statement by Fury as a way to retcon mutants into the MCU.

I think most people have now attached that statement to all the superheros that were out there, that we would see over the course of the MCU. Cap, Hulk, Black Panther, and now Captain Marvel.

Plus, unless there's only a handful, how would they keep hundreds, if not thousands, of mutants under wraps all these years.

Simplest fix is also the most apparent.

They introduced the multiverse concept in Dr Strange.

With all this meddling in reality and time...

Who is to say that the X-Men and F4 cant be brought via that route...even have them recognize that there are Avengers in thier universe. Its a comic movie...so many ways to bring them in.

They'll figure it out. This is the same company that was able to retcon The Beyonder from the single most powerful being in all of the Marvel Universe to just a fairly powerful dude with delusions of grandeur, to a broken Cosmic Cube, to now some kind of a mutant hybrid or some shit and with that, they retconed the fuck out of Owen Reese (Molecule Man) every step of the way.

The door is open for Marvel to bring everyone back into the fold. Daredevil, Elektra, Ghost Rider, Fantastic Four, Punisher, and all of the mutants. They can figure it out.
