Racists are in their feelings over Kap’s new Nike ad

Actually if you would watched the video SAS made an excellent point that he is concerned Nike is now the face of injustice and not Kaepernick

It's not a good point. Literally no one thinks that. People are giving Nike props for what they did, but those props are predicated on Kap and what he's doing. Kap is still unquestionably the face of the movement, and what Nike did has brought him back to the spotlight and given him more opportunity to use his exposure for good. It's all well and good to say this is just a business move by Nike and nothing else. That's true. But to suggest that Nike has somehow co-opted the movement is stupid.

In a surprising plot twist Whitelock coonin it up....shoutout to everybody else on the panel calling him out on his hypocrisy

That fat muthafucca looka so amateurish debating that topic against them 3.

Kinda shocked at Marcellus tho. Bruh tipped toed and danced around that whole issue on Sports Nation. He must've spoke to Shannon Sharpe. Lol

Colin Kaepernick featured in Nike ad running Thursday

Nike is doubling down on its investment in Colin Kaepernick.

The world's largest shoe and apparel brand, which got the attention of the world by utilizing the quarterback-turned-activist in advertisements published on social channels on Monday, is scheduled to debut a "Just Do It" commercial during the NFL's regular-season opener featuring the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles on NBC on Thursday night.

The ad is voiced by Kaepernick and features him, along with New York Giantswide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., tennis star Serena Williams, marathoner Eliud Kipchoge and inspirational athletes such as wheelchair basketball player Megan Blunk, boxer Zeina Nassar and legless wrestler Isaiah Bird.

Kaepernick tweeted the ad Wednesday.

The Kaepernick ad revealed on Monday predictably polarized people, some saying they would buy more Nike products, and others saying they would never buy Nike products again.

Even on the Labor Day holiday, Nike dominated social media. There were 3.4 million mentions of Nike on Twitter in the first 21 hours after Kaepernick first tweeted the ad, social media management tool Sprinklr said. The #JustDoIt hashtag had more than 400,000 mentions; #BoycottNike and #Nikeboycott combined to have garnered more than 120,000 mentions. Kaepernick had 1.5 million mentions over that time period, Sprinklr data revealed.

Sources told ESPN that Nike kept the fact that Kaepernick, who it signed with the company in 2011, would be involved in a future campaign from many key players internally and outside Nike headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. Nike did not share the news ahead of time with the NFL, even though Kaepernick has a collusion lawsuit against the league's owners. Nike recently signed a new multibillion dollar, 10-year deal to remain the official apparel supplier of the league.

Sources also told ESPN that Nike's other big partners, including its largest sponsored teams and retailers, were not privy to the use of Kaepernick in the ad campaign.

They need to put that shit outside every NFL stadium.

And they need to run ads during every NFL game stating exactly what Kap was kneeling for and debunking the counter narrative.

And make sure they get a long ass commercial during the Super Bowl.
Didn't think they'd actually do it.
