2026: Back to the randomness

Does all or most countries in Europe don’t have AC?
I saw something on the news the other day saying not a lot of countries use them because of typical weather patterns, carbon laws, fines and the way homes are built but after this summer with the heatwaves they're having and set to have thats probably going to change. It's bad out there right now.

They have ac but it is a low percentage. Like 20% of homes have it.

Until now, they didn't experience a lot of heat wave days. Also, many of their buildings are made of brick and stone. It retains heat in the winter and blocks out heat in the summer. Some buildings were not built with heat in mind. The climate has changed since then.

Many of their buildings were built before ac was around.

Here is a cnn article on it to explain more.

Thats normal at least in Toronto and the gta. Theres one by me with a drugstore/pharmacy in between them. Our liquor stores are government ran too. They don't give af what the messaging is as long as its a location where people got money to spend. That trio is kinda typical here tho because they're the highest tiered/priced stores doing what they do so it represents good, high traffic commercial real estate in most locations.
Canada is bout it

They need to come up with a solution. Those numbers are fucking crazy.

That’s probably more than gun related deaths here in the states.

That screenshot is saying 2 conflicting things. How can 175k people die each year but only 200k died the last 4? Maybe im reading it wrong.

Anyway it's 40+ countries across Europe. Thats probably close to a billion people so yeah... if its 175k across europe it's probably be higher than gun deaths in the US. Now divide that by 40 or pick a country in europe and google heat related deaths, there's probably few if any higher than gun deaths in the US or Mexico brother.

only like 500 million live in the EU just saying

But

Having AC is so beneficial for your overall health.

Their hospital don’t even have it and that’s crazy to me.

A/C should be a standard in 2026. Fuck the stone ages, let’s make this shit futuristic

Also, gun violence is a person vs person issue mainly. Also gun violence is down and had been trending down for the past like 225 years. We are becoming a better a people

But dying of heat because your country don’t want to instill AC is crazy.

Both are serious issues but hearing them saying they love AC and want it back home is a good thing to me.

Also, gun violence has a direct correlation with poverty. We fix that and the gun deaths go down even more (were trending in the right direction with that)

AC is a luxury for many people in Europe. Also, their electricity cost is more than ours.

Putting duct work in homes or buildings that were never built for it is very expensive. Mind you, like 1 of 6 buildings in UK were built before 1900.

Hell, many people here can't afford brand new duct work. Many dont have to since our buildings were built with it.

So 27 countries instead of 44 lol. You missed the point brother and it still stands. 🤦🏿

At the end of the day it's a luxury for most. Not a necessity.

It’s ways to do everything

Fuck the past. Let’s future this world up.

C'mon fam lol

No one is disagreeing with you. They are just telling you it's not as feasible as you think it is
Bruh, you’re talking to me on a device the size of your hand through satellites 1000s of miles away thats orbiting the earth that’s spinning 1040mph

I’m sure it’s highly feasible

I mean... it doesnt have to be a split unit.. window ac's exist 🤷🏽‍♂️

but yeah, its for sure a nice to have... not necessarily a necessity

The many splits still come with the outside condenser unit. Some places dont allow them to be placed on the yard . Lots of red tape that their government would need to address. They still have the energy consumption issue.

They're banned or restricted in several countries because of carbon laws mostly. Some people that do own them have to hide them. Electricity is also more than double the price it is in the US in some of those countries.
