OPINION Contradictions and Lies! Exposing the Democratic Party

Again, I am not telling you who to vote for or not anybody on this board as a matter of fact...all I saying is that the Dems will have to gain folks to see their vision.
Those old plays that they are used to using are not working anymore

Black folks want something for their vote and more black folks want checks...single issue voter...just like folks vote on guns, abortion issue only., these folks, black are looking hard at folks who want their vote.

And I conclude by saying that Kamala, is not using grassroots...Tariq talking points...its a no way out move.

Folks are seeing as her being fake and its their last hope to save the party.

Thats all im saying...how will this party gain new voters

No politician has spoken about reparations

This is how you get got in a deal cause you can't understand the terms you are agreeing to

We keep telling people to read but they can't

So they get caught up in fake news cycles to do all the heavy lifting for them

Well, these idiots are not going away, and the Dems need more voters to win so what will be their plan?

I can't answer this

But what I can answer is, people, all people, not just black people are affected negatively by all the shit Trump has done unless you are in his friend circle or part of the 1%.

If you haven't directly been impacted, I guarantee you are 1 or two degrees away from someone you personally know that has been

I can also tell you, knock, that I, AP want reparations

But if it's reparations or cheaper/free insulin for my diabetes, I'm taking the latter. Ideally I want both but if I have to choose, I'm going with insulin

There was no way you looked at Kamala and Trump and said his policies were better lol. Your point is very valid.

Or folks could have felt that Kamala policies were not good enough and chose another candidate or chose Trump because one of his policy was good enough for them.

If Kamala policies were that good and she still lost, what will the Dems do going forward to gain voters?

Good enough for you and those who voted for her...but wasnt good enough for her to win the election.

But regardless, I feel like you dont understand what I am saying and you want me to side with you...so just to keep the conversation going...it was good enough...her policies were good enough

I believe she may run again but I dont think she will win.

I believe the Dems need a new playbook to get new voters

It wasn’t the policies, it was the messaging and propaganda from Trump that got people to vote for him. He barely had any real thought out policies. It was nostalgia over the economy in his first term (that he inherited), podcast bros, misogyny, and racism that got him elected, not better or good enough policies.

i know what you are trying to say

what i take issue is you not acknowledging it wasnt her policies at all but the sheer mental retardation of probably more than half the country

white/black/hispanic/latin people voting against their own interests to be in alignment with white supremacy.

White/black/hispanic/latin people voting against a candidate solely for being a woman

the list goes on and on and on...so again...her policies really had nothing to do with why she lost

I think some of this is true, but not every vote that Trump received was because of this, this would say that the people who voted for Kamala are not racist, or any of that you have basically described as the people who voted for Trump.

I don't want to go backwards, I do want to move forward.

How can the dems rebound so that a person like Trump won't get back into the office?

I can believe some of that but as I stated to knight, I'm not going to use that as the overall excuse on why Trump won. Things are not absolute like that.

Cuz we can use the same metrics to say why folks did not vote for Trump, because they didn't want etc etc etc.

What I will say is, her polices, if she was to run on those same policies this time around, would they be good enough for her to Win and regain the voters that she lost?

We keep talking bout Trump, but I wanna talk about what's coming down in the future. Trump can't run anymore, so we can stop talking about him in a sense. What and how the Dems will re gain the voters that are on the couch, the voters who want a check? and the voters who have left the Dem party because of whatever reasons, and the ones who have just plain out turned Rep, this is the core that I would like to ask about, how will the Dems candidates regain these votes to keep the next Rep candidate out of the office?

She can't run on those same policies cause the economy is different and people's needs have changed

And you saying he can't run anymore like he's not trying to actively get that changed so he can have a 3rd term

You also can't regain something you never lost. If niggas are withholding their votes on single issues, you can't count them anyway

Not being single issue voters has actually hurt us more than anything.

If we were single issue voters, then they never would've been able to get us to accept the things on their platform that don't directly benefit us at all.

Single issue voters try to get what they want at the expense of everything else. It's the literal definition of voting against your own interests being a single issue voter because more than 1 issue affects your daily life. Because alot of those same people who were so "get these immigrants out of here" are now "i can't find anyone to work and my business/farm is gonna go out of business"

And there's no way to keep living in this bubble of not being affected by this administration. If you put gas in your car you affected by higher gas prices. Shit I paid $4.49 this morning. Everyone grocery shops...prices going up. Trying to move right now? Rents going up and they ain't coming down no time soon. I just came out a meeting with the owners of the building I manage and the idea of lowering rents literally makes them laugh. Home buying market is trash so your rates are gonna be sky high. The cost of damn near everything is rising while jobs aren't coming and billions being sent out the country. Keeping your head in the sand only works for so long

Do you believe that those who didn't vote liked her policies? I know you and others on here felt that her policies were good, but do you believe that those who didn't vote her for, simply didn't vote for her because they did not like her policy? or the policies did not appeal to them?

I feel like we are having a circular conversation at this point

I don't think they gave a shit about her policies as a whole and they especially didn't give a damn if she wasn't talking about reparations

Is there anything wrong with being a single-issue voter though? Women vote on abortion issues all of the time, People have always voted on single-issue.

There is a 60 minutes interview every year and they ask a group of people why they are choosing x candidate and the people elaborate on what's important to them. which is using a single issue topic

I'm not sure why this is such a strike to you?

People have 1 vote to cast, and I believe some people choose to leverage that 1 vote in exchange for something that they want the most

I don't understand why you have such a problem with that.

If abortion is the only thing on the ballot, then it's a single issue but I don't think it's ever been.

The supreme courts have ruled on this single issue but I don't think voters have

And I think you are conflating the intent of that question.

There is no way to be a single issue voter as BR just explained.

You yourself are many things

Man
Black
Father
Son
Etc...

All these categories can impact you at and given time in your life. Some all the time, others may just be specific to one of those. So how can you just reduce your existence to one of them?

Are you only going to vote on issues that impact men? But what about black men? What about black men who are fathers? But what if you're a black man who doesn't have any children?

What I'm saying is, if a women is asked, "What's the most important thing that you wanna get from your vote" and she says abortion rights etc

Would that be her being on the single-issue bandwagon?

Would she be looking for a candidate who addresses her most important thing?

If a man is asked, what is the most important thing you want to come outta this election and he says immigration laws etc. All they care about is these single issues.

They don't care about wars, etc etc like you and BR are trying to make everyone care about

I don't understand why you and others are trying to make folks move the way you all move and all they care about is their issue, for their vote.

What is so wrong with these 2 individuals wanting this action to be granted to them for their vote?
