Random Lady Thoughts

@JasIsFree manic panic does temporary colors. mix a teeeeny bit of the one you want with some conditioner n you got a nice lil rinse. go for lavender!

@Ring Master what about a red? You think it might be clownish?
If it's a bright red it might be too much. An earthy red tho? perfection.

you could go for a cinnamon color, like Issa Rae in Insecure, then darken it or brighten it if you don't like it. Start off light, your hair is light enough to do most shades now.

Look bae @JasIsFree

I've been natural for almost 6 years now. I'm still finding my way as far as keeping my hair hydrated. I've bleached my hair, I've grown my hair out, cut those bleached ends off, grown it out again, and recently bleached a couple months ago.

I love experimenting with colors. I've had blues, magentas, reds, and an aassortment of purple dyes. Right now, I have some purple streaks, but it's fading back to my lifted natural hair color.

I will say this. When you bleach hair that struggles with absorbing moisture, it's an even harder job keeping it moisturized. It's a fun learning experience tho.

Naturals can bleach their hair too!?

I just don't get it.

Anyway, im debating if I should do my hair myself or go to a salon next time around. I have to go for a haircut but idk what to do about the color. Ya'll know what I look like, any ideas??

Id let a natural hair stylist do it if you're not familiar with the process. As far as color, idk what you like lol. If you dare, maybe pick a shade of blonde with a dark root, butttt dont hold that to me lol! Id just try to find whatever is compatible with your skintone and what you're comfortable seeing everyday on your head.

This the problem..

I have two or three different shades of brown in my hair right now, dyes, toners, my hair's bleached underneath that, except for maybe four inches of virgin hair at the roots, sooo

I'd need a color remover and all that which is gonna be hell on my hair so I kinda don't wanna do it. So I was thinking of going back to black. But I get over black hair quick. So I know I'll wanna dye it again. Dark red brown is what I wanted, but I hear reds the most difficult color to remove so I'm worried if I don't like it I'm just gonna go through it all over again. Smh. I need a personal hair consultant

I think chocolate brown would be perfect on you. Super shiny kind.

Use a semi permanent color, like a rinse. Ima PM you a brand I like that you can do urself but u gotta do a skin patch test. U won't need color remover if it's semi perm

Omg girl. I thought I was bad lolll. Red is VERY hard to remove. I watch this girl on YT remove hers and I think she did 2 sittings of treatments, it's been a while so I dont quite remember lol. I believe she bought some Vitamin C pills and smashed them up into powder then added it to some cheap coditioner. I love her channel. She's like a rainbow pony. Here's the video tho.

But yea, you should consult a stylist before putting any more chemicals in your hair. That's truly the best advice I can give mane.

I've never tried a semi permanent, but it's less risky. If I do it myself I'll try the semi perm route..
