Who getting a Steam Deck

you already got a steam account set up n all that? if not then you'll wanna do that but if so then you can just log into it that way you'll have it linked and can install your steam games onto it. If you dont already have steam games then set up a steam account and go check out the steam store cus they got they big winter sale going on right now u can get some good games for real cheap. They got a section on there that'll show you what games are steam deck verified and what run good on there

Make sure you take the time to get familiar with the different modes for it too cause you have the gaming mode and then you also have desktop mode which is where its more like a computer and thats where you can install the emulators and games for older consoles. It should already be some emulators on there pre-loaded that you can install and after that you just need to get some ROMS to add in so you can play the games u want to

If u need to know wherre to find em and how to set it up ill send u the links for what i used
 
@Banginscrew901 where u at with it? u set up one of the emulators for emulation yet?

also forza horizon is one of the games on sale for the winter sales. i know u be on the racing games so and I saw it pop up on my wall. Says its a top running game on the deck too but the sale ends tomorrow. I need to grab something before it end my damn self

Need to watch a YouTube video or 2 about installing a emulation on it. And I was thinking about that forza and getting nfs hot pursuit
 
Check out this tutorial @Banginscrew901 its the best one out from what im seeing ppl say. everyone giving him props for his but all the others they saying that the guys arent explaining all the steps. He goes through everything though from what im reading. I might actually go through this myself because im not using emudeck. I was using retroarch on mine but Emudeck is a newer one

yea a lot of the shit that i used is gone and it look like its changed a lot I found the link for the roms ima send it to you but then u also gotta get the Bios thats what im having a hard time finding
