Lol how can both of these statements be from the same post?
From the eye test, she had ring skills. But her best available opponents were Kaitlyn, Natalya, and Paige in a time where women were punished for putting on matches that were "too good". There's a huge gap between then and now for opportunities to have great matches. It's pretty much locked in that she'll have her best matches during this run.
She was more known for being a female CM Punk anyway, not her ring work. She had a sharp mouth, spoke her mind against the grain, and pissed the right people off... most notably Stephanie and the women who were riding the Divas wave, which she completely hated. That's what people are mostly excited about.
I’m sayin….even with this I thought someone would say her best match or matches were against Saraya.
I never heard anyone rate AJ up there like that.
Yeah we haven't seen 4 1/2 star matches, just the potential for it. You know fans of people bump them up a few tiers just cause they're fans (now you better leave Miss Kai out of this!!)So you answered your question lol and also see below
An AEW star sustained an unfortunate injury at one of the worst possible times.
Fightful Select has learned that Wardlow has sustained an injury almost immediately after returning from a year-plus absence. Sources in AEW that we spoke to said that the injury is feared to be a torn pectoral muscle, which would sideline him for quite some time. There is the possibility he could remain on TV in an enforcer role.
It was suggested that the injury actually took place upon his return angle, but that isn't confirmed. Wardlow had missed about a year with injuries, but was cleared a number of months ago. However, he was held off AEW TV as he had to film the first two seasons of American Gladiators, which has been completed.
A number of talent we spoke to were bummed out about the news after Wardlow had waited so long to get back on TV and battled injuries.
We wish him the best in his recovery.
