Trump Wants To Federalize DC & Charge Minors As Adults

^^^^^ If this is true…

Why are they doing this……?

Do they NOT wanna see change in DC?

Serious question…

Help me understand.

What do the residents want?

Yes people want lower crime, which was already being done before Trump started this, but they don't want it done with forced military and government agents on the street when they ain't doing shit but picking up trash and harassing people and making the city and eye sore with tanks. Same as any other city/state

One of my ex-military cousins was just here last weekend. Lives in VA but works for the feds in DC. Let him tell it, the streets of DC weren't even that bad. Crime was low, kinda quiet, but I don't know if he was on the block to really see what was happening, but he says DC is actually a decent place.

Can any of y'all DMV posters corroborate this?

Your cousin is right. Crime was down. Not saying it was perfect but too many people are easily falling for the "young Black teens are predators" again mindset with the language being used to do talk about them. Of course there's still crime, car theft and break ins are a bad problem, but overall there's places in DC that when I was growing up that if you ain't know nobody there you just didn't go. That's changed alot over the last decade plus. DC is far from the murder capital it was in the 90s and early 2000s.

Also, straight from the Mayor of DC:

You didn't actually read this article did you? It contradicts the point you think you made with those videos of "DC residents" aka 3 people

Numbers don't lie.

Unless they're inaccurate.

So, assuming the numbers are accurate, an 87% drop in carjackings isn't something that can be easily ignored.

Who is ignoring it? You just don't actually realize the article you posted doesn't support the idea you were trying to push which is that residents want the military and other fed agents patrolling the streets. Those are 2 different things. And it also ignores that crime overall was already down and continuing to fall before they arrived.

It's not surprising to see crime go down when the military is being walked around the city doing the police job

Something about seeing this
