I believe guys do use Tank's name for marketing before they have a fight. The media sets this up a lot of times and fighters fall into it. But I also believe Tank doesn't want to take the toughest fights... I lean toward Tank against most at 135...but that gap is closing.

What are talking about late last year he tried to fight Loma his team & Top Rank were close to a deal.. And then Loma wanted “go spend time w/ his family”.. Then Tank’s tried to make the fight w/ Shakur who was finally out of his TR deal.. But he decided to sign w/ Matchroom instead of taking deal to fight Tank…

Tank been at 135 for how many years and how many title fights? How many unifications?

Every since Tank has been @ 135 TR has controlled the other belts @ 135.. I don’t know if you haven’t noticed Top Rank & PBC rarely do business together the only time their fighters usually fight each other is when the get into position for a mandatory title shots and that also rarely happens.. But with all that being said it doesn’t change the fact that last year Tank’s team was willing do deals w/ Loma & Shakur yet they both walked away from fight…

I don't fault Tank for fighting due to circumstances..He didn't have many options last year... Still, we talking about last year...when Tank been at 135 for how long? What other top contenders at 135 has he fought or sent offers to?

Shakur not with Top Rank no more, he with Matchroom and aligned with Turkhi....so I think that Top Rank - PBC excuse should be dead. As long as both win their upcoming fight, we should be able to get a unification. Turkhi also said that Shakur agreed to fight, but they been trying to get Tank on board with no luck. We know Tank told them fu*k off lol
 
Politics will always run boxing. It's been line that since the beginning... It's just that with social media it's easier to see....

But it's not going anywhere.

135 has been too hot for any unification for the past 5 years...

Only way you get unification fights is if they're under the same promotor....or if that turkey nigga wanna buy EVERYBODY out involved

I think we're getting close... Turkhi was answering questions on Reddit last week.. they making progress. They are trying to make that Tank-Shakur fight...

I’ve heard ShaKur supposedly onlyhas 2 fight deal w/ Matchroom so he’s fighting Floyd Schofield & Zepeda if he gets past Farmer.. So Tank and Shakur could fight in the Fall or Winter…
