hows the work coming along @Loquacious ?

He’s doing my cabinets and shelves right now. He said he won’t be done with everything until this weekend.

I will say I’m tired of spending money on little shit. He sent me to the store to get some long ass piece of wood. Now I gotta go back for knobs for the cabinet door.

I was just tryna upgrade the handles but they dont really sell them in the stores like that. I gotta order them but they aint gonna get here in time. I might have to dig out the tile and replace the manifold to get one of these types instead

hellll naw. they gotta replace the manifold without fuckin up the tile, dig out wall, replaster and all that. I know how to do some of it but im trying to keep a timeline so I dont have time to try to learn the rest and do it myself

damn. can he just make a list so you can get as much as you can all at once instead of having to go back and forth? Dont contractors usually get discounts too? Cant he just buy it and invoice you for parts and labor?

He’s a family friend. My mama been using this man for years. He is great. He does go and buy some of the stuff and bring me the receipts but like damn! I wish he would’ve just got everything and brought it.

Now I’m about to be in Lowe’s staring at the damn knobs not being able to make a decision.

It's gonna be wood to match the shelves.

I love that color on the cabinets. I picked out similar cabinet handles too.

Because he was originally gonna start the flooring first and I also didn’t make up my mind until the morning he was gonna start.

He chose to do the flooring last.

I fuckin HATE doors with slats.. trying to paint or dust these pieces of shit takes the patience of a damn monk that I clearly don't have. I wanna toss this thing into a trash heap and treat it like that printer from office space
