I'ma say Bane in the dark Knight rises

The previews had me thinking it was gonna be dope af, but he was merely just a pawn.

While I didn't particularly like the more animated version in the Batman/Robin one, I was more disappointed in the dark Knight one.

Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor - was way too much like Joker and not as conniving and clever as the comic book version. He had no depth or layers to him. Was more annoying than anything.

co-fucking-sign.

I actually liked B v S, but Eisenberg as Lex was by far the worst part of the movie. Both performance and casting. Lex should've been more Wilson Fisk in DD and zero Joker from TDK.

AP you trippin Bane was dope af

Bane was supposed to be the answer to the oppression Gotham's disenfranchised faced at the hands of the wealthy. He represented lawlessness. He defeated Batman in mind and body. He was there to create total anarchy and chaos. Whereas the Joker was there to test society's morals and hypocrisy in an effort to better it.

BUT, he was a pawn

merely the backdrop

they hyped him up to be like this big bad wolf, but by the end, he was just having his strings pulled

if they combined the over the top version with this one, then i think i dont feel this way

Bane was never the bad guy that was out in front. He always played the background to larger villains

Venom - SP3

Bane - DKR

Mandarin - Ironman 3

Malekith - Thor DW

Galactus and Dr. Doom in the first 2 F4 movies.

Tbh, i was kinda disappointed in Ronan and Ego from Guardians. I liked both movies, but i think the dance battle to defeat ronan kinda fucked up my opinion of dude. Didnt get to see him whoop ass at all. Ego just didnt provide much action at all either.

My point was look at how they marketed him in the trailers
