If that’s the case why did they stay with ESPN who does the same thing, but in a way less funny fashion. Lmao.

Both networks lean in too heavy on the entertainment side of covering the league and not the actual metrics side, but at least the TNT crew was funny.

Even guys like Zach Lowe and Tim Legler barely get to talk on air about real interesting league wide trends or strategy

Plus saying the league wanted to partner with companies that could give it double the price next time is supposed to mean what? Thats what the league is supposed to do.

We dont even know if cable channels like tnt are even gonna exist in 11 years. The NBA did exactly what they were supposed to do.

TNT worked because they didn't just praise the NBA like company men. People will go completely away from network postgame coverage now, and strictly stick to podcasts and social media
