I was there about 10 years ago for a detachment. Was hot as fuck but the mall & restaurants were legit. Base wasn’t bad either. One of the freshest cuts I ever got was from one of them natives that worked there.

I'm half glad DARPA pulled the plug on the project that was finna send me to Afghanistan back in 2011. The pay was beautiful but when them niggas told me "You're not supposed to be armed, but if you find yourself in a position to pick up a gun to... help out... nobody's going to stop you" it gave me pause.

Yeah we were told the same thing. People in our hiring class were pumped about it talking about how to shoot using Kentucky windage, how to load / unload, etc.....half of them didnt know what the hell they were talking about.....lol

I aint been at the gym like that these past 2 weeks but whenever my dude that I workout with asks im like yo I went crazy hard at the gym earlier today.

Ima get back on it when I come back from vacation.
 
yeah fuck alladat. Afghanistan ain't "da skreets" where everybody got guns. Them niggas over there got rocket launchers, mortars, rpg's, tanks and shit. That's a whole different ballgame. Ain't shit about that reason to "get pumped". Fuck that. Soldiers in helmets and body armor and still gettin' their shit split, IED's blowing off half ya body and shit... I mean, I was gonna go 'cause I got a family to feed and shit but I was far from pumped at the thought that them Taliban cats might be shootin at my ass.
