In this climate, it’s not a big deal about will smith being bi sexual or gay. He’s never subscribed to toxic masculinity and Infact has played a gay man in a movie role. He wouldn’t be embarrassed like this publicly to secure that kinda secret. It would do nothing to his career or fame, if anything it would open a new chapter in his career.

It’s leaning more to Jada being mentally ill

Will and Jada could be either, both or none of the above. And we'll probably never really know.

Decent points, but he has no incentive to still want to be with her other than her keeping his secret. Him keeping a secret for her is just another layer of toxicity that he has to endure from her. Her keeping his secret seems more balanced

Also, he could he somersault out the closet in 2023 no problem and he might win for doing so. However I think what keeps him from doing that is it would shock and maybe alienate his core fanbase/black fans. "The fresh prince is gay" won't smooth over so easily with his day ones

You are thinking from your own perspective because you lack the capacity to care about someone more than you care about yourself, so you can’t even fathom that other people actually can. Or have actions motivated by that.

I mean, that’s my analysis of you as a person, not that there’s anything wrong with your motivations. But that’s why you believe what you believe. That his motives are based on self preservation. Because you are motivated by the same thing. It isn’t a matter of right or wrong so there’s no diss intended.
 
Take me for example, I find it hard to trust people because I myself see in everyone how easy it is to take advantage of them, and yet I don’t. But, I see everyone from the same perspective that I see myself

Yea sure self preservation is more plausible than protecting someone's mental illness

Like if this is Scooby-Doo and they unmask the culprit, you think it's going to be mental illness and not something more sinister? I mean, i hope you're right/im wrong but...

To stick with you, just because you are motivated by self preservation doesn’t make you a bad person, it just means you have had an extended period in your life where self preservation was more important to your survival and well being than not being that way.

Further to stamp it home, the few times in which you did put someone above you, it ended badly enough for you to push it down the hierarchy of what’s important to you.

So even if you do something harmful to someone, is it really bad, or are you acting out of a nature that life conditioned you to see through. Because had you had a more altruistic viewpoint, you may have not done it that way.

Your actions aren’t wrong, like the Scooby Doo villian believes they are doing the right thing for them, it’s the cartoon moral standpoint being the opposite that says it’s wrong.
 
But then there are people who didn’t experience what you experienced so their thought process went left where you went right. They can’t understand not putting others above self like you can’t fathom not putting self above others. Thus, you can’t fathom his motivations being protecting her even at the cost of himself.
 
He loves her the way that he wish he can love himself which is why she called him selfish cause for all of her issues, she sees through his
