maybe, maybe not. But better to have and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Also, did you want a large display and full-sized keyboard? Completely forgot to ask.

and what's your price range?
I have monitor I’m hooking it to. So I don’t need a huge display. Yes a full keyboard.

Didn't give the option to drop it back to 8GB of RAM. I optioned it with a 256MB drive and the cheapest 1080p monitor they offered (extra $20 I think)

Thanks Geek Squad

Don't get me wrong, the cheaper joint you posted from Best Buy might could work, but that 1366x768 screen resolution is pretty abysmal, but if you're going to use it strictly with an external 1080p or better monitor then I guess it doesn't matter, unless you have to take it on the road with you, then it might be annoying.

The three 15" laptops I have here with me have different resolutions: 1366x768, 1600x900, and 1080p (1920x1080). The difference between all of them is very noticable when it comes to usable space on the screen.

The low-res one, however, is the only one I can kinda use without my reading glasses 'cause everything's so big on it.
