If the idea here is that we meet someone for 1 hour, and then dont get another chance to chill with them, then to me I get nothing of substance out of a convo.

I get where you're coming from, but the OP doesn't say you're barred from spending any further time with that person after an hour. I don't give a fuck about celebrities either, but I'm sure if I thought about it, there are at least a couple people that if I sat with them for an hour, I could build enough of a connection that we could collaborate on something following that meeting.
