FEATURED “It should be noted many major record labels have deprioritized signing Rappers”. - Ebro

test
These record labels are struggling to find new white female pop singers who can sell a lot of albums, merchandise and sell out stadiums. There’s a more serious drought when it comes to pop singers if you truly look at the music landscape.

It hilarious buddy says this and everyone runs like it's gospel. He didn't say if it was his grandma calling, his girl, his homie, etc. A Soundcloud rapper could blow tomorrow and labels will run to find his clone.

This is why we're in the recycled boat we're in. The consumer dictates popularity, and we're the consumers and trendsetters. Even overseas shit that has no connection to Americanized issues, rap still resonating. Quick to try to abandon the culture cause some radio rando said he got a phone call.

let me ask you negroes

In 5-6 years when there is no Nas, Jay, Kanye, nicki, Drake, J Cole, Kendrick

(Let’s assume the latter 3 stop rapping just for the sake of my argument)

Then what?

Lol they conveniently left out the fact that a lot of hip-hop/rap artists nowadays don’t need their major label record deal while pop /world music artists do.

It’s like breaking up with a girl who already broke up with you.

No star power

The culture is gone

Whatever you talking about is something new
What's really funny is Tyler creator is the most famous rapper GLOBALLY outside the ones you mentioned. but people don't like his image so they will ignore him
